FAR EAST SHIPYARD

Far East Shipyard has come a long way. Starting from humble beginnings, we started off our business in Sibu, Sarawak, Malaysia. Initially, we derived from two shipyards, located in Sg. Sadit and Tg. Maleng respectively. However, with a better prospect envisioned by our pioneers, the two shipyards are now under one management. Thus, this led to the formation of Far East Shipyard Co. Sdn Bhd and was officially registered on 19th May, 1961.

Far East Shipyard has always ensured that our services are always in line with the current technology. In the early years, only wooden types of vessels were constructed. As the years went by, the materials were upgraded to mild steel especially for vessels of various designs

We believed that our people are the core of this company. They are known to play a vital role in delivering excellent services to our customers. We went through an intense and rigorous selection process to ensure that our people hold the right qualifications for their roles. Each member of our team has been trained in accordance to latest standards and technology to establish a standard quality in deliverance.

We have also incorporated continuous training for our people to ensure that the team constantly develops over time in order to deliver excellent and practical solutions to our customers. Aftermost, we believe that in order to provide the best quality shipyard solutions comes from the people, not just the facilities.
